AS OF MARCH 1, 2013 WE ARE OUT OF NETWORK WITH UNITED HEALTHCARE
United Healthcare, unfortunately, will not allow us to rejoin its Medicare Advantage network. These include: Evercare, Secure Horizons, United Healthcare Complete, AARP Medicare Complete.
Furthermore, we were unable to reach an agreement for all of United Healthcare's commercial (employer sponsored) networks such as: UMR, Optum, Oxford, Golden Rule, One Net, Heritage, United Healthcare.
FOR OUR MEDICARE PATIENTS: Open enrollment for Medicare begins in October, so please keep the following in mind.
We are providers for the following Medicare Advantage plans:

Today's Option (Universal American)
Aetna Medicare (Aetna)
If you want to stay within AARP, change from an HMO to a PPO product which allows you to see out-of-network providers.
FOR OUR NON-MEDICARE PATIENTS: Please contact your Human Resources department if you would like to see us become in-network providers or ask your employer to change insurance companies when it is time for your re-enrollment.
We offer our out-of-network patients a cash or self pay discount. In exchange for this discount, we will collect all charges at time of visit and ask you to file your own medical claim. United Healthcare should pay you.
North Carolina law, G.S. 90-21.1, indicates a parent must give consent for any non-emergency treatment. Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
