Central Carolina Dermatology practices to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each new patient.  What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you.  We will also ask to scan your driver’s license or other photo id.

EFFECTIVE MARCH 1, 2013, WE ARE NO LONGER A PARTICIPATING PROVIDER WITH UNITED HEALTHCARE INSURANCE PLANS.  WE ARE HOPEFUL THAT FUTURE NEGOTIATIONS WILL ALLOW US TO RENEW OUR CONTRACT WITH THEM.  WE ARE HAPPY TO SEE YOU AND WILL FILE YOUR INSURANCE, BUT WE ARE CONSIDERED AN OUT-OF-NETWORK PROVIDER.  BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO BE SEEN, YOU MAY WANT TO CHECK WITH YOUR PLAN TO UNDERSTAND YOUR OUT-OF-NETWORK BENEFITS.

Minors


North Carolina law, G.S. 90-21.1, indicates a parent must give consent for any non-emergency treatment.  Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.

Inclement weather:


We may experience inclement weather during the winter months.  Our concern is with the safety of our patients and staff.  In the event of inclement weather, we’ll make every effort to notify you by phone of any delays in our schedule.  You may also call the day of your appointment to confirm our office hours.
